Onirelo is a web app for recording and analyze dreams. I built it solo as a deliberate challenge, from idea to design, a brand and distribute it.
What I did
- Built it end to end: record a dream as audio, transcribe it to text, then run it through a multi-step AI analysis pipeline I designed.
- Routed several models through OpenRouter; the analysis surfaces recurring patterns across a person's whole dream history, not just one entry.
- Created the brand from zero: name, universe, a cast of emotion mascots + 150 ad creatives.
- Ran paid acquisition across Meta (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok, and Google.
Results
- Live in production with real users.
- ~150 creatives shipped on Instagram and TikTok for about 100–150€/day.
- Idea to production in three weeks, built part-time alongside other projects.
- A working acquisition funnel within ~1.5 weeks of the first tests.
Problems
- Marketing challenge: building a brand universe and learning paid ads.
- Ads learning curve: daily session replays to analyze user behaviour and improve conversion rate.
