A platform built for Oreka AI, a company helping hotels and restaurants manage their reputation and their menu, made at the very start of the AI era.
What I built
Two AI-driven sides:
- Reviews: pull from Google and TripAdvisor, draft personalized replies, track reputation.
- Receipts: scan tickets, segment what guests order, advise on the menu and upsells.
I built the whole platform solo after the original team dissolved, on a tight timeline.
Results
- Shipped and live for 6 months, until the company closed.
- One of the first GPT-3-era products.
Problems
Building on GPT-3 at its most unstable, with heavy third-party scraping and integrations, against the clock and with little team.
